Those who believe in a particular superstition do not have the monopoly of faith. On another note, the growth of religious fanaticism in the USA is directly related to its sinking into plutocracy. It's part of a general decerebration, and expresses, just as the despicable Abraham does, the willingness to hurt the child to please the boss.
